What the canvas cannot show
1. Cart and product page. The Cart drawer, Cart button, Buy box and image thumbnails run as code. Open preview to add a piece and open the drawer.
2. Wall. Strips open on hover, focus or tap in preview. The canvas shows the first strip open.
3. Collection page. The filter, the A, B and C row layouts and the overlap on every third row show in preview.
4. Pins. The canvas shows sample markers. Real markers and cards show in preview. Below 810 px a list of the pieces replaces the markers.
5. Video. The canvas shows the poster. Video plays from 810 px wide when motion is allowed. Phones see the poster only.
6. Theme and nav. The theme button works in preview. The nav is clear over Section: Hero until you scroll 40 px. The canvas draws a solid bar.
7. Rails and timeline. Rail arrows work in preview. The Timeline layout follows the browser width.
8. Photo positions. The canvas ignores a percentage focus on photos, so Home scenes look centred there. Check their crop in preview.
Before you publish
1. Store link. Paste your store domain into Cart drawer in Main, and each product’s variant ID into Shopify variant ID in Products.
2. Forms. Set where messages go in the form settings of the Contact form, the Trade form and the newsletter. Errors show as browser messages.
3. Pictures. Replace every photo and video, and write alt text for each.
4. Page titles. Check the title and description of all 18 pages. Titles end with “· Vesterby”.
5. Sample text. Replace the Privacy and Terms text and the Map placeholder on Stockists.
6. Language. The language picker in the footer switches between English and Spanish. Read the Spanish text under Localization in Site Settings, translate the other pages, or delete the picker and the language.
